That’s it! On January 30th, the first member of the new generation was born. Geneviève and Same are proud to announce the birth of the adorable little Olivier Cissé. Wai-gong (grand-pa) and Wai-puo (grand-ma) are overjoyed and Jio-jio (unkle Patrick) and Jio-ma (aunty Karen) are all very excited to meet their nephew later this year. We wish the happy parents a few hours of sleep here and there.

From what we knew Nestledown in Los Gatos is THE dream location to get married. We were therefore full of anticipation walking into the red woods searching for the chapel. As the door knob turned, the cheerful warm air instantly wrapped us in. The cathedral ceilings were just tall enough to contain the high spirit of the guests and the hearty laughter from the lovely couple. With friends and families from Brazil, Canada, Switzerland and U.S mingled like old pals, it was a dreamy afternoon! Congratulations Christophe and Rosilene!!

Weddings are the best place to find out all about the bride and the groom. We now know that Anne used to have a double-chin and Naim was once a blond. We also discovered the root of Anne's alcohol-phobia and the gummy bear army under the General Naim. And who could ever guess that during their wedding preparations, Naim was more relaxed than Buddy!? Even without all these entertainments, we would have been smiling ear to ear seeing you two became 'official'. Love from us all!!

It was a foggy and frisky afternoon at Greyhound Rock Beach, or at least that's how it was when we arrived for the long-anticipated-but-never-organized BBQ by the ocean. It didn’t take long however for our good mood to blow the clouds away and to invite the sun to the party.
