Chinese New Year
January 28, 2006
It's been a while since Chinese New Year but surely all participants remember that day very clearly. We all went through a training to learn all about the traditional ways of preparing dumplings. Following Master Koh's lead, we honed our skills to perfection making 300 dumplings from scratch in just under 7 hours. So how was the result? They were oh soooo yummy! (They had to be!)
Flying Lesson
January 22, 2006
Nothing makes you feel more reassured than seeing the person that is about to take you up to an altitude of 4000 feet in a narrow metal box unable to start the engine. And as he started to blames it all on the radio we only had one thing in mind: "Fire this guy!"
Park City
February 18, 2006
Lots of things have been said about the powdery slopes of Utah. But still, you only know things to be true after checking them out for yourself, right? Apparently everything was true, and we had a blast on the trails as well as into the trees … oops, I mean in the trees. One thing people usually forget to mention is that the temperature barely goes above 20 F. Here's a tip for you: Use that as an excuse to order a warm apple cider!!Altogether it would have been a great weekend but when you have friends like we do, you're in for something even better. First, you start by playing "Age of Mythology" and the next thing you know it is already 6:30am. Time for a 2 hours nap before going snowshoeing. But since Patrick's birthday was coming up, the snowshoes mysteriously turned into snowmobiles. That's all we needed to keep us bright awake!
Christmas 2005
December 25, 2005
Before the year comes to an end, the editors of PPKK weekly wanted to wish our loyal readers the best Christmas ever. We hope 2006 will see all you dreams come true.
Maui
November 25, 2005
Is there anything to say about Maui? The pictures speak for themselves and if it wasn’t because of Karen’s firm grip at the airport, I would still be surfing the giant waves and swimming with colorful fishes. There are too many things to see on this island, and the five days we spend on there merely gave us a quick overview of what it is hiding. We MUST go back !!!
Halloween
October 31, 2005
If there is one thing you don't joke about at Logitech, it is Halloween. The preparations for this celebration start months in advance in the secrecy of the conference rooms. Each department prepares its war agenda. The goal: get the trophy of the best decorated area, best skit or/and best group costume. And when you step in the building on October 31st you'll be blown away, unable to recognize the place. I think some even never find their cubicle on that day!!
